پاکستان میں قتل غیرت کی صورتحال - سیرت النبی ﷺ کااطلاقی مطالعہ

Abstract

Honor Killing is such an issue that is neither just related to reputation nor to a psychological issue of any specific country or a nation. It is not also a matter of merely to East, Pakistan or other Muslim countries, rather we see its manifestations in other societies as well. Though these manifestations are diverse regarding the particular nature of social milieu and societies but many paradigms (instances) of Honor Killing are seen more or less around the globe and its circle has expanded from underage girls (minor) to aged women. While in each society and religion, punishment is prescribed for whoever commits this vice. In Pakistan such events of killings are prevalent in the tribal areas, especially in Sind and mostly in the Southern areas of  Punjab Therefore legislation was made in Pakistan to protect women s’ rights and to discourage the honor killing as well and the Government of Pakistan passed a law called Criminal Law (Amendment) Act,2004; In Pakistan the social condition of  honor killing, the current (legislation), and the study of Islamic Shari’ah is very much important in its nature. This Article is humble attempt of Applied study of  the Holy Prophet’s Seerah on contemporary situation of Honor Killing in Pakistan.
