Balance in the duties of Zaujain- in the light of selected exegesis

Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life. It gives us the principles of society. Husband and wife is an important unit of family and society. Islam gives the rights as well as duties to both of them and also orders to make balance in it. These orders also determine the value of Zaujain. The study aims at analyzing the balance in duties of Zaujain. It also elaborates the chore values that strengthen the relationship of Zaujain like justice, good behavior, stop oppression and limitation of number of wives. Actually Islam values both of them within their limits. This article is based on the study of interpretations of selected urdu exegesis written in twentieth century. It will cover those values that results in inner satisfaction,harmony and establishing the best relationship۔
