In Pakistan, the term transgender is known as hijra. They face a lot of discriminatory behavior from childhood and face non-supportive hand from their parents. They do not get moral or financial support and in this circumstance, they leave their parents or vice-versa. After this separation, they become part of guru-chela culture where they live with transgender community. They face problems like harassment, abuse and torture of the society. This article will explore the social, economic and political activities of transgender community.
