Abstract

Women have very much importance in the establishment of a developed society. They have to face many problems. But the helpless widows have miserable situation in the society. Social problems of widows have been highlighted through survey and they have been addressed in the light of Islamic teachings. Both modern and conservative method of research have been used to conduct the research.  Problems have been identified by the survey and personal interviews whereas the solution has been given with the help of Qura’n and Sunnah. It can be concluded that if Islamic teachings are adopted the problems of the hepless widows can be solved. There are so many sourses to solve these problems but there is lack of education in the society that is needed urgently.
