An Analytical Study of the Quranic Concept of Fazl: in theLight of Wa La Tansawul Fazl e Bainakum

Abstract

Allah almighty has described the word “Fazl” in the holy Qur’an in different 
meanings. It has been described in the meaning of Mercy, Social esteem, financial 
stability and Natural dominancy of male in the family. As it obvious that family is 
the Unit of society; and a stable family is inevitable for an established and 
prosperous society. In this way, the holy Quran has given golden principles, 
Masawat, Adl and Fazl for a stable family. Besides, Allah almighty has described 
the term “Fazl” in the time of separation of a wife and husband not to forget Fazl 
amongst each other. Envision, if Fazl is necessary in the time of separation and 
divorce; how much importance it would have in normal days in the family? In this 
way, the term “Fazl” has been analyzed in the context of a stable family in this 
article.
