Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life, which ensures a successful life here in this world and hereafter as well. Islamic teachings are evergreen which can be implemented and accepted anywhere and everywhere in the world. Because Islam is the only religion that offers extremely fair rights for every community and for every member of society. One of many unmatched characteristics of Islam is its “Family System”. This is a prestigious family system where each family member enjoys predefined family rights to live a life with dignity and honor. Anti-Islam forces have been trying to oppose Islam by using every possible source since the beginning of Islam. And with the passage of time, different types of neo techniques have been adapted to oppose Islam. One of them is to ruin the Islamic family system by making Muslim society a nikah-free society. Recent international women’s day celebrations in Pakistan depict the true picture of the face behind this case. The slogans and the demands of the participants of these celebrations were actually a series of efforts to make Pakistan a nikah-free country.

No doubt there are many undeniable facts about women’s rights in Pakistan that need reforms. Up to some extent, the situation of women’s rights is alarming in some areas of the country but we can’t say that rights violation is taking place due to the Islamic family system as the slogans of “orat march” depict. Rather these violations are happening only because of unawareness of the true teachings of Islam and not applying guidelines regarding rights given to women in Islam. So these issues should be solved according to the teachings of Islam and criticizing Islam for all this should be stopped.

In this article, we would discuss:

1. The difference between the definition of freedom among Muslims and the opponents regarding the family system and the reality of freedom which liberals are seeking.
2. Deficiency regarding women’s rights in our society, its reasons, and solutions.
3. The elements of society which provide platform and support to anti Islam movements to organize such shameful events in our society, and how to cope with it.

The responsibility of the Islamic state to prevent it to reoccur in the future and the responsibilities of every society member in this regard.
