Abstract

Role of women as a wife is very important in the formation of society as well as completion of humanity. Women have been honored as mother, daughter, sister and wife in Islam. Wife Plays a key role to keep a family strong. In western countries role of wife has been limited that is why western family system is on the verge of destruction. Western media distorts the Islamic concept of feminism. It is need of time to know role of wife for the national welfare in Islamic perspective. Islamic history begins with role of woman as a wife. The woman is considered to be weak and fragile but Holy prophet (SAW) `s wife Hazrat Khadija (RA) became a rock of courage and stood with the Prophet (SAW). The history-making role of Hazrat Khadija (RA) acknowledges the glory and greatness of women forever. This research article explores women`s role as a wife in the light of Seerat-ul-Nabi (SAW).
