Hareem-e-Noor and Its Poet Syeda Parveen Akhtar Zainab Sarwari: Family Background, Life and Works, and an Introductory Study

Abstract

This study presents an introductory and analytical overview of Hareem-e-Noor and its poet, Syeda Parveen Akhtar Zainab Sarwari. The research aims to explore the literary contribution of the poet by examining her family background, life, and literary works while also presenting an introduction to her poetic collection Hareem-e-Noor. Understanding a poet’s personality and background plays an important role in interpreting their creative work; therefore, this study first highlights the family background and early influences that shaped Syeda Parveen Akhtar Zainab Sarwari’s intellectual and literary development. It then discusses her life, achievements, and literary services, shedding light on the circumstances and experiences that influenced her poetic expression. The research further provides an introductory review of Hareem-e-Noor, focusing on its thematic and stylistic features. The collection reflects spiritual, moral, and emotional dimensions that demonstrate the poet’s sensitivity toward social and human values. Through a descriptive and analytical approach, this study aims to present the significance of the poet and her work within contemporary Urdu literature.
