Abstract

Humor as an entertainment is a vital part of human life and his nature. A man can’t be in serious statement all the time. So as a part of nature and life and as a religion of nature, Islam does encourage to be happy and joyful and hopeful not to be annoying and serious all the time. Life of Prophet Muhammad(Peace and Blessing be on Him) and environment of his house regarding this matter is an example and role model for other humanity so as the life of Prophet(PBUH)’s wives and their interaction with each other and dealing with Prophet(PBUH). There are several stories of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)’s wives(May Allah be Pleased with them all) which show the manifestation of humor as an entertainment. Their stories provide a great guidance and set rules of humor for others and give information about the nature of humor of then Arab society. It is noteworthy that these stories denote that how extent the nature of humor is change with long gap of time and history. The study aims to explore the humorous interaction among the Wives of Prophet(PBUH)(May Allah be Pleased with them all) and to analyze them for the purpose of Da’wah.
