Women have been given significant respect and importance in Islam. Previously,
their language was often considered inferior, but with the advent of Islam, they
were viewed with dignity and given equal status to men. They were given
importance in household affairs and financial matters. Women began actively
participating in welfare services, playing pivotal roles during the era of Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him). They contributed significantly to Islamic
education, moral upbringing, and societal organization. Hazrat Khadijah (may
Allah be pleased with her) utilized her wealth to strengthen Prophet Muhammad's
social, reformative, and ethical services, supporting and advising him in fulfilling
the educational objectives of Islam. During the Rashidun Caliphate, women also
played crucial roles in welfare services. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with
her) promoted Hadith and became a renowned scholar in Islamic knowledge.
Many women during this period contributed to establishing an Islamic state and
served society's progress and reform. Throughout the era of Prophet Muhammad
and the Rashidun Caliphate, women promoted social change, justice, and actively
engaged in various tasks, including nursing the wounded during battles such as
Khaybar and Uhud. They participated alongside the Prophet in activities such as

fetching water for the wounded, applying ointments, and even engaging in
swordplay. This research reveals the treatment of women before and after Islam,
highlighting their elevated status in society post-Islam. Women have demonstrated
exemplary service in various aspects of society, adhering to the principles of Islam
and contributing to both personal and societal development. Their historical
examples illustrate how women can persevere through challenges to leave a lasting
legacy for future generations.
