Abstract

ALLAH Almighty has placed the responsibility of women on men. One of the most important of these women’s rights is “the right to shelter”. What is the limit of women's rights in this regard? To whom does this right apply? How much does it apply? What are the misconceptions about this? Especially after marriage when a woman starts her new life, the days she spends in her husband's house with her in-laws, the life after her husband's death, or the life after divorce. In the present article, these issues will be discussed in the light of the teachings and the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
