This research aims to shed light on one of the important creative aspects related to a creative personality represented by the contemporary Sufi poet (Abdul Wali Al-Shamiri), where his creative formation was studied in the phenomenon of "Islamic intertextuality". The Qur’anic text and its link to some poems; To achieve a goal and an indicative goal that he intends and wants, and this is expected from an Islamic poet and writer who lived and grew up in an Islamic mystic environment, and belongs to a Sufi Muslim father, the Sufi scholar (Abdul-Wareth Farhan Abdullah), who studied on his hands the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences.
